On the contrary, medical malpractice often results from doctors just blindly prescribing things because the software let them do it.. at least it used to, I think they've been cleaning up their act a lot lately.i've set up shit like this, so please stop,. there are leagal issues that the doctor is worried about far more than any idealistic, romantic idea of a money grab you're concerned about.
I agree with you and it is a very complex issue, and I guess no one group of people should be held responsible for faults in the system, I take back what I said earlier about developers being responsibleyou're right that the software is VERY VERY restricting and i know many doctors who refuse to use it and they're allowed to, though they have to document what they do in some other way and have someone put it into the computer.
i've dealt with this in both the united states and canada where have you implemented it?
