I put on my detective hat (it's actually a trilby, thankouverymuch!) and googled a few of the messages because it sounded a lot like copypasta. It turns out it is indeed copypasta, but the origins are still unclear as I found some of the quotes connected to one reddit user that's no longer registered ("Barry") while other quotes are connected to random accounts on different forums.
I think this must be some sort of bot/generator that grabbed a bunch of quotes from different places because those phrases are also parroted by other random reddit accounts in places where they don't fit.
I don't know if it is an inside joke or an experiment, but it's fucking weird and creepy nonetheless. I mean... why those phrases? What's the point?
