No, when it got the point that was clearly starting to suffer I took her to the vet and knowing there was nothing else we could do to help her suffering anymore I asked the vet if he thought I should maybe have her "put to sleep" he said with tears in eyes that is would probably be for the best... that was a Friday, shoving your cat in a cage and dragging it to the vet and putting it on a cold metal table is a horrific experience for a cat in any event so I asked the vet if there was anything we could give her to keep her as comfortable as we can for a couple of days (see she hadn't been able to have pain killers and stuff up until that point due to little or no kidney function, but at the point of knowing I was no longer trying to extend her life I asked for something to give her for a couple of days) so I took her home and gave her medications for a couple of days, I looked up and played cat music for her which she actually seemed to enjoy.... then by sunday I was wishing it was monday because she was still suffering at times, she could no longer walk properly, would cry when going to the toilet and was collapsing when trying to move... I had to wait until monday, I called up monday and got the vet to come over for a home visit so that she could at least die in her familiar surroundings in her favorite spot. the vet came over and we gave her a green needle :'(

he asked what I wanted to do with her body and I told him to take her... He was even nearly crying with tears in his eyes so he wrapped her up and took her... whatever they do with the body is Fine, Jazz is not using it anymore, he could autopsy to learn a bit more if he wanted so if there was anything not picked up on you know it could serrve as knowledge to help another cat. But I don't know what he did the body, he would have just disposed of it the cheapest way.
