I use a dedicated charger, charging off usb has always been unreliable in mods. Not sure why, but they never get it right.

Obviously you're at a more advanced stage of the hobby than I am. I've been at it about 8 months. Not sure if I want to get into all the tech stuff, i prefer plug and play. I'm lazy
