Being a president of america is pretty fucking far from that... they are a figure head.

the president of the united states is 33% of the government, but for practical purposes he's 50% because the supreme court doesn't get involved all that often. australia may have an impotent head of state who exists simply to look good on tv, but the american president has real power. especially obama, he regularly oversteps the constitutional restrictions placed on his office and shits all over congress.
