this al-awlaki was actively trying to get americans blown up. before that he was a bona fide enemy combatant -- if it were up to me i would jerk the citizenship of americans who do what he did; then there wouldn't be a reason to freak out over your own rights just because some sworn enemy of his own freedom had his rights taken as a result
