hey here's a useful piece of advice - if you're going to chop a 2TB partition off of the logical volume that contains your exchange drive, make sure you chop the partition and don't just try to lvresize it away because if you don't update the partition table the VM will see the whole disk as raw and unformatted and you will shit your pants
