    paper towel does not trap bacteria and the bacteria found in paper towel is trasferrable to your skin, eyes, lungs etc...

    yes, it does. the trapped bacteria turn into spores when the moisture drops below sustainable levels. the spores stay in the paper or get washed down the sink, or stick to your hands if you're a slob that doesn't know how to properly wash and dry your hands.
