it's not hard to use, it's just shit. you shouldn't need to run an antivirus in the background all the time, you shouldn't have to defragment your hard drive, you shouldn't have a 'I'm going to shut down in 10 minutes for updates unless you tell me to postpone it for a couple of hours" dialog. no other modern OS requires this kind of babysitting.

I don't see how adding a bunch of extra maintenance is making things any easier. They're just lazy, they're interested in making it look different so people think it's new and fresh worth paying another $150 when really it's all ancient NT bullshit under the hood.
