    because John Q Public doesnt use any other modern OS, they have to make it easy enough for your 80 year old grandmother to figure out

    I don't see how adding a bunch of extra maintenance is making things any easier. They're just lazy, they're interested in making it look different so people think it's new and fresh worth paying another $150 when really it's all ancient NT bullshit under the hood.

    so they add in UAC which I turn off even though Windows says I shouldnt (fuck the authority)
