Cleansing and warding may be your most consistently powerful techniques to keep yourself safe. As a shamanic practitioner you will need to develop relationships with powerful allies, spirits whom you can rely on. These helping spirits can have many roles in your life but can be called upon to perform tasks, such as protection. Many shamans in history new how to hex, curse and more. Mostly for the good of their own people or clan. There are negative spirits out there that you can develop contracts with to help enact negative work on others, but they can be tricky and in worst cases find loopholes in said contracts. Whatever you do, research research research.
