made it from whole plants. people sell dried poppies online and schoolkids make tea with them but i checked in the merck index and the natural morphine salts are most soluble in ice cold, pH-neutral water so i basically just did coldwater extractions, reduced in the oven, then dissolved in bourbon

the best plants i got were imported from hungary... eight heads extracted properly was enough to nod off for 5-6 hrs, maybe equivalent to 160mg oxycodone at my tolerance
