    she was saying it with verbal fingerquotes like "epic" instead of epic
    and this was in 09 when grownups didn't know about epic yet

    so obviously what had happened was this is some parentless kid who hung out on /b/ or reddit or some other "cutting edge humor trends" site and was talking about something being epic in class a few days ago and the teacher overheard and thought it was so cute
