In the middle ages christians thought it was wrong to loan money but they still needed loans, so the jews picked up the slack and provided banking. With more money comes better health, better education, better cross-culture relationships, etc.
Then in WW2 they were almost completely wiped out except for the diaspora (who had the advantage of being multi-cultured), and the ones who had both the resources AND the foresight to get the fuck outta dodge before it was too late. If you were a poor jew, or an undecisive jew, you were fucked. So, the best genes out of the entire jewish population were unnaturally selected by change of circumstance.
