Hey maks, have a minor issue and im pretty retarded when it comes to pc hardware. Anyways I have a 1gig ram chip that fit my old dell optiplex, and i was gonna stick it in my friend's dell dimension e310. Fucking thing don't fit. the slot cut in the center of the chip is off by like 1/8th of an inch. Is the dimension e310 an odbbal machine? He's got 2 factory 256m cards in there atm. the card i was gonna stick in there is a super talent 1gb ddr-333 pc2700 heatspreader 64mx8 cl2.5.

Can you point me to a card that will fit that's cheap but actually worth a fuck? 1gb + preferably. Only have 2 slots.

the offset is different because it's a different kind of ram. google "what ram fits x motherboard" look at if it's ddr2/3, what the speed is in Mhz, and the voltage. then search newegg for ram that has the same stuffs.
