no there was a 2 week period where me and a few of my nerd friends took adderall and dug out our old magic cards and re-learned all the rules and bought some new cards and went to a local tournament, my friend got second place because of his scute mob and some other overpowered forest creature that was unbeatable

just because you buy cards and look at them and caress them in your room by yourself but are too antisocial to go to a tournament does not qualify you as being knowledgeable about the game

you need to remember that scute mob is only a one drop.
Its not going to be your sole salvation but all you need is a little extra bit of mana to invest in one and its going to come back in 5 turns to help you win the game
