13% sales tax is close to what some states pay in the US. for instance, arizona and illinois pay 11.something %
and health care here doesn't involve standing in line at all. the national health care works like any insurance plan
there are private hospitals and there is private insurance here too.

08-05-2012For tax purposes you're not purchasing food at a restaurant, you're purchasing service. So I was wrong about states with sales tax, fine, sucks to be them. CT doesn't, and I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that we do not have a federal sales tax so shove it. Originally Posted by m0nde
