and he probably wont win the election anyways
depends on what congress looks like under his administration. also, I think he has a solid chance. lots of liberals are disenfranchised with obama, and a lot of moderates are really upset about obamacare. it's going to be a close one.

romney might have been able to win if he had campaigned as more of a moderate republican like when he was gov of MA

instead he went full on right wing crazy and anti gay trying to rile up the "base" but the republican base is not being replenished as quickly as the old farts are dying off because of their ridiculous social conservatism

either way the guy has zero integrity and would do anything to get a vote. It irritates me that McCain took the same approach as Romney in 08 even though he has traditionally been more moderate and has voted against his party many times. At least McCain is a man with some guts and integrity, if he had campaigned as a moderate I may have voted for him (he still would have lost to the Obama hype machine though). I don't think I could ever vote for Romney after seeing how much he has flipped all of his supposed values from his time as governor of Massachusetts and his refusal to release his tax information, Bain capital scandal, etc. I just don't think he has any sense of ethics.

bush got 2 terms with the same exact tactics. karl rove is running things again, he wasn't involved with mccain's campaign, that guy's like satan incarnate but he's effective.
