The truth is, we all go back and forth between being introverts and extroverts in different social situations; think of a time when a younger relative (or any young child) has looked up to you and you had to assume the role of an 'extrovert' simply to be a role model for him/her.
When I perform I use a persona that I wouldn't really identify as being truly me, same with work where I adopt a professional persona.

An introvert does not mean that you cannot stand up in front of people and speak or lead... some can, some can't, same with extroverts, some can, some can't.

The main difference between an introvert and an extrovert is that an extrovert actually gets energy from being around people while that same situation is actually a drain on an introvert's energy who really prefers to be alone to recharge their batteries.

The internet is full of introverts as it is the ideal social ground for an introvert, they can turn it off and walk away at any time.

I do though tend to like looking after people because when I have to look after someone it tends to make me act as a better person than I normally would, even to myself, I will treat myself better when I have to look after someone else out of a need to have the energy to do so.
