finally going to get thermal paste for my cpu which is like 1 year overdue

it's certainly worth trying if you're having problems but "replace every x time period" as a rule of thumb is idiotic. for anything you use at home you shouldn't ever have to replace the thermal paste.

yea i opened it up and there was almost no thermal paste there, was quick to wipe the bits left and i applied a layer of arctic silver 5, im guessing thats the best on the market since its the only one i could find made in america...
