yeah I don't bother with intel except for servers, intel does have a slight performance edge but it's not worth the extra price, but stevey's never going to accept that

some food for thought:

Since SL writes/retrieves a huge amount of texture data etc. to your drive having those files stored on an SSD should make things in world load faster. With that Titan GPU you'll be able to run SL at all maxed settings with shadows and everything enabled on the largest monitor with no sweat. It's a lot of money but, it'll be less hassle to run a single Titan than say, 2 GTX 780s in SLI mode (SL doesn't recognize SLI anyway so your second vid card would be useless).

People who don't play SL don't understand why it takes so much horsepower to run. It's because unlike other games where all the 3D environments are designed by pros and highly optimized, most of SL is user created and not optimized at all.
