serious question now that I think of it is amd making ati's horrible graphics cards or did they just make a huge business mistake? don't think for one second that I'm biased I fucking hate all this shit but I see so many complaints with ati nowadays it's crazy

ati's cards tend to be a bit faster than nvidia (on software that isn't optimized for one or the other) but their drivers are complete shit, I've had nothing but problems with them.

I was told that ram isn't necessary for sl since it's mainly gpu and hdd so this is basically the same thing for $500ish cheaper http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231677 and this is from someone who's been in sl as long as me and actually understands the game and wrote that above food for thought

if you end up going with AMD you could probably save a bit more than that buying RAM that isn't certified for 6th gen intel or whatever this one is, they have to pay for the certification which adds to the price of the hardware. if you go with intel buy this because it's certified.
