the ONLY thing you got wrong is the excess of RAM, which is not possible to be used up unless youre running like 10 virtual computers inside your computer, which you dont have a reason to unless youre doing some hardcore testing/developing, or are making a server to run in the IT industry...

8 gigs, 4 gigs for the game youre running, the remainder for what ever background processes are running on your system thats it that is all you need not one gig more

i have 16 gigs ram and the only time i ever used it was when i was doing labs for class using virtual machines, now 8 gigs literally sit there doing nothing, nothing at all, its like i got 200 bucks worth of ram in retirement

the amount of speed I gained on my last desktop going from 7 to 8 was just insane, my current rig boots before I even release the power button


I got that same ssd too it's the best one out and lasts just as long as a normal drive

I bet my ram is actually faster too lol
