why did they have to walk inside the jaegar to make the jaegar walk, wouldn't that get unnecessarily exhausting? why couldn't they use a joystick or pilot it like a drone?

also why did they need an exaggerated jj abrams nerd two dimensional character to carry the movie? him and the german guy made this movie extremely camp

I was disappointed jj abrams didn't drift with a kaiju and ride it into battle like in Avatar

also the chinese and russian teams had zero dialogue or character development and nobody cared when they died

and wtf was with that homoerotic opening sequence with his brother on the bunk beds
