wow, its true.. i thought the UK was usually smarter than the US about this kind of crap
how can they block internet porn? by what right? goes against every principle of free speech and censorship.

What was their alleged goal behind this law? Fighting illegal pornography? Couldn't they have just tightened up existing regulations?

This is clearly agenda driven. The porn industry is dead due to free porn on the internet, and now they're whining to the government about Intellectual Property and fucking whatever, doing some serious lobbying, and trying to make themselves out to look like they're the good guys fighting illegal porn.

If that wasn't the case, they wouldn't have banned all internet porn outright, they would have just tightened up regulations.

Just another piece of net neutrality being chipped away at by the corporate world.

and the executive branch is only trustworthy sometimes.. they face the highest scrutiny, so they're always at least trying to be fair, where as the legislative branch is stuffing their pockets with bribe money and just constantly trying to pass agenda driven bullshit
