    opera is built from chomium which is the open source project chrome is also built from which means it's exactly chrome with a tweaked UI. I was implying you are going down the stevey route of making things way more complicated than they have to be for the sake of being different. you're the sort of guy who runs freebsd or gnu hurd because linux isn't leet enough.

    only since version 15 which was released like 3 months ago lol before that they used presto

    i dont use Opera to be different. i use it because its the best. ive been using it since highschool when the only notable alternatives were internet explorer and firefox which had (ands till has) memory leakage issues. Opera has no such issues and has better compliance with web development standards.

    if it's chromium it's exactly as compatible as chrome which is the least compatible of the 3 major browsers.
