i guess you could yeah but a UPS also keeps all your shit alive and safe in the case of a power surge, and it gives you time to shutdown gracefully in the event of a sudden power cut

i dunno if you can get one that's rated high enough wattage for both computers, you'd probably need one each, both around maybe 700-800W, i can't really tell because i never have more than two drives in a computer and i don't buy extreme progamer video cards or CPUs

here we go again noobs not knowing how to computer starting their rage meanwhile I still havne't had a single problem with windows 8 and it's still the fastest and best and most stable and safest os ever made I will gladly tell you if I have any problems because I'm not anywhere close to a fanboy I'm just going by the fact I really havne't had anything but an amaizng experience

I still don't even know what the point of 8.1 will be unless it's just to add a start menu but I'm still gonna use classic shell's start menu because it's 100% customizeable and is fucking awesome

well here's the thing, unless I'm imaging things, it actually really is

it loads in less time than the initial bootup logo of my motherboard, every single thing I do is instant, I can't even read the hints on loading screens in games because the loading screens don't even display for a full second, that's not a joke, I can run every single game maxed, I can do 283582358 things at once (with only 16gb of ram!), I've used every version of windows ever made since they were released as alphas and long into their release cycles, including windows 7, and windows 8 is by far the greatest OS ever made

linux and mac don't count because you can't do shit on them and they're worthless but if you could do real computer stuff on mac and linux they still wouldn't be nearly as good but that's just common knowledge

I don't even have to go to run to start cmd and other stuff I just click my start menu and type cm one click, just one click just to click the start menu, then I press the letters c and m, hit enter I'm in cmd, then I can hack it's that quick and easy

I can also just pin cmd in my start menu or my task bar but I think you can do that in every windows

what's important is I have dataram ramdisk and firestorm pinned to my task bar because I don't need anything else anyway, I should also pin blender there but it's right in my start menuI don't wanna accidentally click it even though I can load and close it in under a second
