I know he did just by the things he was saying. Like when he told everyone he thought that everyone at Narcotics Anonymous was an insane loser and realized that he wasn't one of them and wasn't anything like them.

Drugs aren't that bad. The reason opiates are so evil is largely due to how much they cost and the negative social stigma; if you hypothetically had an endless amount of opiates, you'd soon find that the euphoria rapidly dissipated with repeat dosing, and the only way to feel euphoria from them is by taking breaks, getting rest, and being healthy. If the effects of the opiates cause physically harmful behaviors (such as not sleeping or not eating, or laying in one spot for too long and cutting off some of your circulation without realizing it), your body will rapidly develop a tolerance to the euphoria.. It's just the way your body works; when something damages its health, it avoids the cause.

Medium doses of opiates with adequate breaks between use is actually the only way they can be successfully recreational.

If we dropped the social stigma and decriminalized drugs, and instead focused on educating people about them, drugs would not be a problem in society.

In order for someone to get physically addicted to opiates, they had to have kept taking it every day even after it was no longer euphoric for them.. which just means they're stupid. You can't get high every day on opiates. By about the third or fourth day, they stop being euphoric and instead are only sedating. But it takes at least 10 days of constant use to become physically addicted and start experiencing withdrawal symptoms. This means that people who are physically addicted to opiates kept taking it after it was no longer euphoric.

If drugs were all just legal and cheap, opiate addicts would realize this instead of constantly being focused on acquiring their next dose, and understand that they're not getting high from them anymore, and no dose is going to get them high again until they take a break.

One of the truly evil drugs I'd have to say is methamphetamine - especially for people with big responsibilities, like people who have kids.. I've never done meth and wouldn't ever touch it. But I've watched it ruin people. I've watched it rip away a person's life efforts and leave them homeless living out of their car or living with friends or whatever. And the worst part is, they don't stop... they may take a break for a week or something, but then as soon as they start feeling somewhat healthy again, they think they can take more of it, and when they do they're off back in gacked-land for days/weeks/months

Doing meth when you have kids is one of the lowest, most disgusting, shittiest things a person could ever do.
