what if there are other physical universes outside the boundaries of our physical universe, and when/if our universe collides with another universe, a particle from a different universe abiding by different physical constants coming into contact with a particle from our universe would cause the speed of light to suddenly change in our universe (since all particles in our universe were entangled in the singularity before the big bang, and if you fundamentally change the laws which one particle abides by, it would change those laws for all other particles it was entangled with) and everything in our universe would be obliterated

well between the branes there would be an endless flow of universes being created and disolved (you know the higgs boson weighs only 98% of what it should weigh if the universe were to remain intact forever, this might indicate that it does not remain intact forever and does in fact cease to exist at some point) however we can only observe the observable universe simply because the "distance" between the endless flow of universes being created and destroyed by the collisions of these branes between the points where they collide (like if you think of the branes as two bits of string vibrating and when they collide they collide not just at one point but at differnt points along the string at sligthly different times and at each point where they collide a universe is destroyed and created) is such that we could never see, reach or observe another universe, for all intensive purposes these other universes are completely intangible to us... we can only observe for as far as light has reached in our universe, but that does not mean the universe is in isolation, there is a whole constant flow of universes between the vibrating branes and a "universe" is simply no more than the boundary of what is observable to us, ie. the boundary of where light has reached from our spot between the branes where they collided.... if that makes any sense at all..... ?

so we aren't talking about a big bang from a singularity out of nowhere, we are talking about any number of universes being created between multidimensional branes or "super strings" as they sometimes called in string theory at points where two branes collide however at any given point where the branes collide could very well produce different physical constants as you put it depending on the amount of energy caused at that point of the collision which by no means would be the same at every point along the branes where they collide spawning a universe
