maks DYK that dogs eat their own feces in order to balance the bacteria in their own stomach? The stomach is also the first part a pack of a wolves will eat from an animal be it still alive or not, a solitary kill done by large predators is usually straight to the neck to prevent the animal from moving while consumed. Dogs also roll in various piles of shit they find in order to hide their own order and odour while stalking prey.
