i'm assuming that the aspect ratio is the width/height of the TV and the screen resolution should be set to that same ratio

so basically their software takes your input and does whatever the fuck it thinks it should do to it before actually showing it and it has a delay, and theres no option to disable it because consumers are dumb good we want to keep them dumb less options yes
