well if we're talking about our ability to develop useful skills, i was in advanced placement math in elementary school, in middle school i consistently tested high on standardized tests. Being good at school wasn't something I was pressured into by my parents, I'm just naturally smart and a quick learner.
I'd assume in the 17th century any skill you learned, I could learn faster and more efficiently
