Except for the possibility of a universe where god does not exist, a failure in your part to conceive of a universe without a god therefore your logic fails.

you're misunderstanding what I'm saying: if God exists, being all-powerful he could just make the universe where he doesn't exist not exist. Hence, his 'One God' aspect supersedes all other possibilities.
