the tactic google is trying to employ has been seen before, and its never worked. Not once. You're not going to convince people to use a social network by making it seem trendy. Google plus is going to be just one more failed attempt at making a google social network in a long line of them

I know that for you guys, being a programmer and IT guy, its always personally better for you financially to have a commercialized internet because you tend to get a bigger paycheck from it
