The racism I saw in the community I went to was awful, a whole town pretty much segregated with the whites all living in the side of town with nice houses and the aboriginals all living in dilapidated old tin shed missionary housing from 50 or more years ago but multiple families living in them. So e of the kids didn't even have a bed and just slept on cloths on the floor and there was a big lice problem there and that was secondary school, lice is usually more common in primary school kids. But just the way some of the teachers treated those kids... no actually the way the whole town treated the aboriginal community was akin to forced segregation, it wasn't officially forced but it just continued that way since the missionaries half a century ago.
