Definitely this. My husband makes around 40 grand a year but if the company he works for didn't comp our insurance then we wouldn't be abe to afford it.
Even our amazing comped insurance kinda sucks. It doesn't cover dental or visual anything, so we'll still be paying out of pocket for anything like that. Thus, we don't go to the dentist, or get new glasses.

My husband works for an extremely small company (less than 10 people, actually) so it's awesome that they comp our insurance at all! We got the best plan we could get through the obamacare website (because we don't know anything about insurance) and just kinda went with that. I doubt this method would work for such a small company (:
