theres only so much learning you can do when you dont have a job in your field (i work home networking support, but its hardly the same thing as experience with managing hundreds of users, which I would have been doing at this place)

microsoft offers trial copies of almost all of its enterprise software suites, including its server OS's, and you have a machine which I assume is capable of running virtualbox so you really already have everything you need. I got my current job because at the interview I could tell them about the datacenter in my bedroom I built for fun
