'casual as fuck' is almost always the best way to handle girls, you'll have more success being aloof and when you get rejected it won't bother you nearly as much. I can't speask for jon but I'm willing to bet he wasn't all "OMG YOU'RE SO BEAUTIFUL I HAVE TO HAVE YOU" they probably just talked and had fun and they clicked and things happened naturally. and when it's over they'll part ways and there won't be any hard feelings on either side.
