One of the continuing issues with the worship of the “alpha male” is that nobody can agree on what “alpha” is. There seems to be a very slippery slope amongst these beliefs between, say, buying a drink or paying for dinner and becoming a spineless, sexless blob of neediness that no woman would touch with a ten-foot pole.
