I've heard a lot of mental patients crap on that in ancient times they would have been a shaman, fact is shamans and medicine men or wizards were more equivalent to doctors than some fruitcake with schizophrenia, and they spent a life-time training, they didn't just take some drugs and become uselessly delusional, they were respected members of their community.

Not saying you are fruitcake with scizophrenia but it's just a tired argument that I've heard from quite a few unemployed drug takers who are schizophrenic

If they really want to be equivalent to shamans I suggest they spend the next 6 or so years at university working their ass off getting educated and qualified
