    idk what all that means but didn't apple make uefi? I heard apple either made it or has been using it for years too, so what? idk what that has to do with anything

    The original EFI specification was developed by Intel and was used as the starting point from which the UEFI version(s) were developed. The goal of the organization is to replace the aging PC BIOS.
