The last physics forum argument was a smash hit here at these forums, and everyone had grabbed some popcorn and tuned in as I faced off in a battle of wits, armed with nothing but some crap I read on wikipedia against a platoon of physics majors (a degree which no jobs in the real world even exist for), while they try to lay me out using this esteemed knowledge they wasted actual money on.
To them, losing a challenge of being smarter at physics would be the same as realizing their entire life is a sham, and they were conned into paying for a degree that isn't worth anything; so tensions get as personal as they can at a forum that bans you if you ever try talking like a human being to other posters.
