essentially, stocks, paper money, whatever are exactly the same. the only thing with these steam cards is that you can never cash out real money for them unless a true choth gives you cash outside of steam for it (read buying WoW gold). you can use it to buy steam games or other cards. they're given a value and traded and steam takes a fee. ask jon about it. he loves that shit.
