I messaged him on steam last night, to give him a heads up that I made this thread, and let him know it was about perserving history and not about attacking him. so we discussed it a bit and he told me this picture



which I always thought he just found on google images, was 100% real, he actually cut himself over a girl he'd met on the internet like a week ago. Barry was in a really bad place back then, and the megathread hurt him, a lot, but the shock to his system was exactly what he needed and he's way better off than he would have been if this had never happened.
