if buying foreclosures was a huge profitable business the banks would literally do it and sell the homes at big scale/vs. always auctioning off them for shit. the title issues are what is fucked up big time. clay, i think is from texas or some bumfuck state so maybe there's no redemption for unpaid loans, but i know their definately is in CA and a lot of other state.s
here's a dumbed down version of the CA statuteCalifornia has a complicated statutory right of redemption after the foreclosure sale has occurred, which would allow a party whose property has been foreclosed to reclaim that property by making payment in full of the sum of the unpaid loan plus costs one (1) year after foreclosure sale unless the original lender made a full price bid then that period is shortened to three (3) months.
