This is how it (unfortunately and fortunately) works for me. I know this because I can pull the same card different times, and my body goes "Oh... yeah... you know what this means, you know! Yeah, pull another. MMhmm.. Just as we suspected!" Then i'm all in tune and the story begins to pull itself together, and "see even how these two corresponding cards colors match as well?"
Then sometimes when I'm just doing cards because its...y'know, spiritual card time, I'll ask a question... shuffle shuffle, shuffle, think shuffle, Ah HA!
Wait... what my question? Brains says: "I dunno, you want me to make this work? You want me to start drawing conclusions?" And at that point I have a choice. Normally I scrap it and focus better. But sometimes, I think "well, lets look deep. What IS this card saying... ah yes... it applies to my..."
