Cronus, son of Uranus (heaven (Aquarius)) and Gaia (earth) in greek mythology who was supreme god until overthrown by his son Zeus. With his mother's help, Moloch killed his father, separating heaven from earth. He fathered and consumed Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Hades, and Poseidon.
Moloch is also the name of a squat thorny lizard that moves little and specializes on eating ants. It is extremely hard to spot in its natural habitat, best found by following its tracks in the sand.
Molech (back to the god) worship was super common among the Canaanites, God warned Israelites against the practice Lev 18:21. He was a fire god that had a very real power over the people. Primary means of worshiping him included child sacrifice by burning. The worshiped bronze statue of a calf's head with crown seated on a throne with seven kinds of cabinets built in to receive 7 types of sacrifices (flour, turtle doves, an ewe, a ram, a calf, beef, or you-know-what).
