Society completely breaks down after a global economic collapse and everyone finds themselves fighting for survival. Jon has an advantage starting off with a home and weapons to defend it, but his only ally is his slave minded, openly bigoted wife. Maks and Elz have an incentive to work together, both possessing some of the same skill sets as Jon, they hope to outnumber the couple in their holdout. The two young beauties Lisa and Deso find it necessary to travel together and by using charm, wit, and sex appeal they are able to thrive around normally hostile company in spite of their growing resentment toward each other. Marco and Wendy paired together early on during the initial rioting. Their willful disregard of anything humane and complete obsession with self preservation lead them to join the Temple of Satan, a 3000 year old order whom equates hatred with strength and seeks to create a super human race of pure evil.
