    Anyone here ever install new brake lines on a vehicle

    The long steel or copper lines... having a horrible time snapping the new line back into the plastic brackets. I had to bend and pry the old one out, but can't get the new line to snap in on several of them beside the fuel lines. Please help me irl

    yes, in my mustang. didn't have your problem though it didn't use platic clips. plastic gets brittle when it's old you may need to replace them

    If only they were brittle. They won't even break with a hammer and screwdriver being nailed into them. I'm probably gonna try filing them down slightly and do some other nigger rigging hammering them in with a rubber hammer and notched wooden dowel

    Mine were rusted the most on every plastic clip which was supposed to prevent that in the first place
