The song was composed by a German composer, and in German was called "Der Zauberlehrling".. but if Der Zauberlehrling ends up being some different song and a copyright office worker glances over it because they only bothered to check YouTube (which isn't how people think anymore anyways because the internet is dead/dying) and let Disney then 'own' the song, theyll make a fuck ton of money for requiring tribute to be able to play it, or cross promotion like it's use in a car ad around the same time as a Fantasia rerelease, and also strengthening their ownership of Fantasia (which an argument could be made that it would become public domain if enough of its content consists of public domain material)
