For some reason, your mobo got dirt and dust may overheat which shortens life.

I didnt know bios updates fixed dust and dirt issues good to know

it's a gaming rig, unnecessary gpu replacements are a forgivable sin

More reasonable than buying a gtx 9 series months before the 10 series launched...
